Severe Weather Causes World Food Shortage

Global Warming: A perfect storm for the world's hungry?

The increase in floods and drought in different regions around the world is causing trouble in the agricultural sector, especially for the worlds poorest nations.

How does global warming play a role?

Droughts and flooding are complicating the food production process, which is resulting in food shortages.

Already 'unusual weather events' linked to climate change - such as droughts, floods, and storms - have decreased production in important exporting countries such as Australia and the Ukraine.
