CONNECTING THE DOTS

Climate change, or climate disruption, affects many aspects of life.

This section of GWEN's webpage is our way of helping you make the connection between various stories that you may read about in the news, and their relationships to climate change. By clicking on the diagram above you can explore these connections. Doing so will help you see just how complicated and wide-spread climate change is, and how it impacts nearly every aspect of your life. Most of these connections are from a U.S. perspective, but keep in mind they are applicable to the entire world.

Once you understand the connections, we hope you'll become more active in helping to solve the problem. There are many things that you, your family and friends can do -- as explained on our webpage and in other sources we've listed. After you've improved your own energy efficiency at home, work and school, there are other ways you can help. You can encourage your government, organization and company officials to do their part by conserving energy and switching to a sustainable, non-fossil fuel source.

Please contact us if you have any questions or comments on connecting-the-dots, or about how you can best support the cause. Our future depends on it!

NOTE: To navigate back to other parts of our connecting-the-dots pages, you may want to click on the "back to previous page" button at the bottom of the page, click on green site flow diagram at the top of the page, or use your brower's "back" button.
